TITLE: Litigation Attorney

Tara Millan was raised in Eagle Point, Oregon and Anchorage, Alaska. After graduating from Eagle Point High School in 1988, Tara received a BA from the University of Colorado at Boulder and her law degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska.  From there, she went on to practice law in Alaska.

For nearly a decade, Tara represented injured clients with a litigation firm in Alaska. Her practice  focused on  insurance law, products liability, contract law, fraud, and insurance bad faith.  In addition to her litigation caseload, Tara also worked on various appellate matters, some of which set the standard for litgation practice and insurance law in Alaska.

After years of fighting for the rights of Alaskans in their disputes with insurance companies, Tara returned to  her roots in Southern Oregon and has joined the Law Firm of Dennis Richardson, P.C.. Tara continues to represent those who have suffered serious injuries and deserve full and fair compensation from insurance companies. Tara is a member of the Oregon and Alaska Bar Associations.

Tara immerses herself into cases. She feels responsible to examine every issue and every angle which she believes may affect the outcome of a case. It is her goal to get a full recovery for those she represents.

In her spare time, Tara loves riding horses, studying Spanish, listening to country music, gardening, reading and cooking. Prior to practicing law, Tara was a chef. She attended Western Culinary Arts School in Portland, Oregon and spent several years in the restaurant and catering business.
