THE FIRST STEP The Initial Confidential Consultation The first time we meet at our office, we obtain information from you about the accident, your injury, and your medical bills; We review your case, advise you on how to proceed, and, answer all your questions. THIS FIRST MEETING IS FREE. THE SECOND STEP Medical and Legal Investigations If you decide that you need an experienced injury lawyer, we begin handling all aspects of the case. We contact the insurance companies, start any investigations necessary, obtain a copy of the police report, preserve evidence, and conduct legal research. THE THIRD STEP Evaluating the Case and Settlement Negotiations No settlement attempt will be made until a complete, detailed investigation has been concluded and all medical information gathered, including medical bills, reports and other evidence supporting your claim. The majority of cases are settled at this stage, without the need for a trial. If, however, the insurance company refuses to admit responsibility or refuses to compensate you reasonably and fairly, a lawsuit may be filed. This is done only with your consent.
